    There have been recent tensions resurging between Japan and South Korea which could have serious implications for trade - especially for the memory market. South Korea is home to the world’s memory giants Samsung and Hynix, and Japan supplies key materials used in the production of memory modules, meaning that much of the world’s memory supply is at stake should a trade war happen.

  2. ARM will feature full support for Nvidia’s full stack of AI and HPC software

    Nvidia has announced that it plans to make their full stack of HPC and AI-focused software compatible for the ARM architecture. The ARM architecture is a family of reduced instruction set computing (RISC) architectures and are used in a variety of devices from mobile phones to supercomputers. Nvidia has shown a lot of enthusiasm recently for supporting the ARM architecture due to the European and Japanese exascale supercomputing initiatives which are confirmed to be using ARM based CPUs.
